Obituary for Patricia Ann Legendre
A memorial service honoring the life of Patricia Ann Legendre will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Leesville under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Patricia Ann Legendre was born on January 31, 1949, in Vacherie, LA to Guy and Stephanie Becnel. She passed away on July 24, 2023, in Leesville, LA at the age of 74. She worked for many years at First Baptist Daycare and loved all of her babies. She was an excellent seamstress and made her children’s clothes including wedding dresses. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, and listening to Hank Williams. She attended First Methodist Church of Leesville and First Baptist Church of Leesville where she sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Pearl, and brother Erkle.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Legendre and wife Rhonda of Leesville, and Ritchie Legendre of White Castle, LA
daughters, Nancy Lalonde and husband Craig of New Llano, and Brandi Blockburger and husband Michael of Hornbeck,
sister, Louise Becnel of Vacherie, LA,
grandchildren, Ryan Lalonde and wife Ashley, Jessica Legendre, Joseph Legendre, and Theodore Blockburger,
great grandchildren, James, Cheyenne, Chandler, and JolieRayn.
