Funeral service for Paris "Buddy" Roberts will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Antioch Baptist Church at 2241 Slagle Loop, Slagle, La.71475 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Terry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville, LA. Visitation will start on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. and continue until service time on Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church. Buddy, was born on January 12, 1944 in Leesville, LA. to Paris and Ora Lea Smith Roberts and passed away on Thursday, July 24th, 2014 in Alexandria, La at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 12 days. He was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish where he worked for the former Red and White grocery in Leesville, Standard coffee. company and worked most of his life as a electrician. He was one of the founding members of the Wagon Wheel Riding Club and loved to hunt and spend time with his family. Preceding him in death was his parents and Son: Justin Roberts Survivors are his daughter: Pamela Roberts of Slagle, LA Sisters: Ona Craft of New Llano, LA and Ila Jean Hinton of Temple, TX Grandchildren: Brooke and Trevor Roberts of Slagle, LA.
