Obituary for Pamela "Pam" Ann Broderick
Funeral services for Pamela Bare Broderick will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Keith Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, October 15th from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11:00 until the time of service.
Pam passed from this life the evening of October 10th after a long, hard battle against illness. She was born, the first of five children, in Highland Park, Michigan on December 28, 1961. Later, she moved to Tennessee where she attended school and graduated in 1980 from Waverly Central High. Pam moved to Louisiana in 1990 where she spent the remaining years of her life. She had a passion for playing pool and riding motorcycles. She had a strong love for the many animals she raised . . . lastly, loving her cat, Bubba, and her beautiful dog, Chloe. Although Pam had no children of her own, over the years, she catered to her younger siblings and later, her niece, Brittney, and nephew, C.J. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Whether it was sitting outside on her deck, going out to eat, or simply relaxing in conversation, she cherished her time with those she loved.
Pam is survived by her mother, Thelma Thompson of Evans, LA; brother, Ron Bare of Waverly, TN; sisters, Brenda (Roger) McClain of Waverly, TN, Monica Mallard of Dickson, TN, and Robin Leach of Leesville, LA; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kyle Chapman; husband, John Timothy Broderick, and stepfather, Larry Thompson. Pallbearers will be Gary O'Brien, Bobby Etheridge, Luther Thompson, C.J. Leach, Brady Mallard, and Carl Thompson.
