Obituary for Pamela Joy King
Pamela Joy Parker King was born June 19, 1953, in Leesville, LA and passed away September 30, 2024, in Simpson, LA at the age of 71. She lived in Louisiana most of her life. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her loving family. One of her favorite things to do was travel with her friends and family.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Dwayne Oma Parker and Claudia Mae McNeely Parker; brothers, Vernon Parker, Royce Parker, and Roger Parker; and sisters, Carol Simmons and Kay Peachey.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dustin King & his wife Olive Marie of Leesville, LA and Greg King & his wife Mandy of Prairieville, LA; her beloved grandbabies, Amber King, Parker King, and Makenzie King; her cherished great-grandbaby, Melody Auzenne; her brother, Dwight Parker and wife Cammie of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Parker and Jeanie Parker of Simpson; her brother-in-law, Larry Peachey of New Jersey; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Per Pam’s wishes a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pam’s memory may be made to Welcome Cemetery.
