.Onika Maria Herbert was born on November 5, 1963, in Orange, TX and passed away on November 28, 2018, in Shreveport, LA at the age of 55. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, collecting owls, and drinking coffee. Onika loved animals and lived life her own way.
Mrs. Herbert was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Eugene Owens Sr. and Lorraine Grazel Owens.
She is survived by her sons, Joshua Denell Welch of Anacoco, LA and Gregory Allen Herbert and wife Melody of Lake Charles, LA
daughter, Stormy Maria Davis and husband Bradley of Anacoco, LA
brothers, Herbert Eugene Owens Jr. and wife Marie of Raymond, WA and Robert Lemaul Owens and wife Rosie of Patriot, IN
sisters, Audie Mae Townsend and husband Eric of Yelm, WA and Sherry Rosezel Kunka and husband Mark of Navarre, FL
grandchildren, Brianna and Luke Welch
and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Herbert will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
