Obituary for Nylah Janae' Horton
Funeral services for Nylah Janae’ Horton will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville with Reverend Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Please observe social distancing guidelines, and everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
Nylah was born October 25, 2019 and passed away July 7, 2020. She was a vibrant, sweet girl who loved to smile and laugh. She liked to wave hello and could get into anything. Nylah’s daddy was her favorite, but her mama was the best to cuddle with, especially at night.
Nylah was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Lenora Horton, Alvie Horton and Thomas Wayne Carver.
Left to cherish their memories of her are her parents, Allen Jones and Alexis Dache Horton,
grandparents, Steven and Heba Horton, Jennifer and Dennis Sandefer, Leslie Jones-Muhammad, and Ronald Muhammad,
great grandmothers, Judy Carver and Harriet Jones,
great-great grandmother, Willie Mae Lawson,
and a host of extended family.
Pallbearers will be Steven Horton and Ronald Muhammad.
