Norman Gail Christensen was born on June 8, 1937, in West Plains, MO. He passed away on September 17, 2021, in Leesville, LA, at the age of 84. Norman served his country in the United State Army. He later worked for over 20 years at Fort Polk in civil service. Norman enjoyed living a simple life on the farm. He loved to garden and grow various types of plants and flowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Juanita Louise Gordy Christensen of Leesville, LA;
sons, Jeffrey Christensen and wife Tammy of Anacoco, LA, Gregory Christensen and Anthony Christensen, both of Leesville, LA
daughters, Linda Horton and husband Ray, of Natchitoches, LA, and Rebecca Colyer and husband Marty of North Vernon, IN
10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren
