Obituary for Nelda Faye Simmons McGlothlin Willey
A graveside service for Nelda Fay Simmions McGlothlin Willey will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for the family and friends of Mrs. Willey will be held from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Nelda was born Tuesday, September 24, 1940 and passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born to Oscar Leveren Simmons and wife Fern May Williams Simmions both of Kistachie, LA. She married Henry Allen McGlothlin, and they had four boys together, Thomas Alan McGlothlin, James Oscar McGlothlin, Timmothy Gregg McGlothlin, and Jeffery Lynn McGlothlin. She remarried and raised another son, Justin Willey. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Alan McGlothlin and wife Dana McGlothlin, James Oscar McGlothlin and wife Cindy McGlothlin, and Justin Willey; grandchildren, Thomas Alan McGlothlin and wife Casey May, Heather Pierce and husband Shawn Pierce, Charles Pousson, Britni Bernard, John Trammell, Lacy Trammell, Derrick McGlothlin, Amber Laffoon, Megan McGlothlin, Bryan Godwin, Taylyn Willey, Addalyn Willey, and Emma Willey; nine great grandchildren, and a great grandchild on the way.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Eagen, Derrick McGlothlin, Shawn Pierce, Bryan Godwin, Wayde McGlothlin, and Charles Pousson.
