Obituary for Nathaniel Woods
Visitation services for Nathaniel Woods, a native of Leesville, LA will be held at Jeane’s Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2020, from 9-10:30am. Burial will be at 11am at Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville, with Paul Horlacher of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating at the graveside. The burial will be under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Woods, 65, died on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his residence after a five year battle with cancer. He was cared for during his illness by his wife of 29 years, Justina Woods, a Ghanaian who resided in Leesville for the past 29 years.
Survivors include his wife, Justina Woods, his son, Kevin Miles, of Leesville, his dear sisters: Patricia Woods, Delilah Isaac, Brenda Woods, and a brother, D. ‘Hank’ Woods, all of Leesville.
His mother, Irma Mae Woods, and a sister, Henri Joyce Bryant preceded him in death.
In accordance with state law during the current pandemic, the visitation will be open to immediate family and close friends.
