Funeral services for Myrtle Carlock will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Jeane"s Funeral Chapel with Jerry Jeane officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, Slagle, LA, under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Jeane"s Funeral Chapel from 6:00-9:00PM. Myrtle Bean Carlock, the daughter of the late Daniel Jackson Bean and Elizabeth Lucindy Hillman, was born in Bartham, LA on 27 April 1925 and passed away in Houston, TX on 1 June 2015. She is proceeded in death by her husband - Jakie M. Carlock Sr, son - Jakie M. Carlock Jr., sister " Ruth LeBlanc, brother " Curtis Bean, Sr., and granddaughter -Taylor Lindner. She is survived by her daughters Linda White and husband Michael White, Beth Strickland and her late husband Vernon Strickland. She was the proud Grand and Great Grandmother of 9 Grandchildren, Angi Miller, Tim Trapp and wife Janie, Andrea Self, Robert Lindner, Jason Carlock, Greg Lindner, Kristal Davis and husband Joshua, Michael Carlock and Megan Andrus. 19 Great Grandchildren: Caitlyn Lindner, Joshua Miller, Payton Trapp, Braden Lindner, Jasmine Lindner, Zachary Miller, Tye Carlock, Tyrstynn Carlock, Emma Davis, Morgan Davis, Caroline Carlock, Rylie Carlock, Brenen Carlock, Malaya Andrus, Brantley Andrus, Skylar Lee, Mason Carlock, and Tristen Carlock She is also survived by two brothers Claude Gosnell and wife Mary Lou of Leesville, Daniel Bean and wife Yvonne of Highland, TX and one sister Claudette Mifflin and husband Jim of Anacoco, LA.
