Obituary for Mrs. Thelma Collins
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Collins will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 3:00 at First St. Paul Baptist Church of Leesville, LA, with the Rev. James Gaither officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery, Pines Road under the guidance of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 on Saturday, July 13, until the time of service at First St. Paul Baptist Church. Mrs. Collins, 84, of Leesville, LA, passed away on Monday, July 8th, at her residence. She was a native of Many, LA, but had lived most of her life in the Leesville area where she was a cook for the Vernon Parish school system. She was a member of the First St. Paul Baptist Church. Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband - L.B. Collins of Leesville, LA; a brother - Hardy Woods of Longville, TX; a sister - Gaddie Manson of Fort Worth, TX; one stepdaughter - Janice Collins, Leesville, LA and three stepgrandchildren.
