Obituary for Mrs. Sarah Ann Merriman
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Merriman will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.in the Antioch Baptist Church in Slagle, La. with Rev. Terry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Cambell Creek Cemetery near Sieper, LA. under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will start on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. utill 9:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Slagle and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Mrs. Merriman 73, of Slagle passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Leesville. She was a native of LaSalle Parish but had lived in Slagle over 30 years. She was a homemaker that loved to work in her garden, sit on her front porch visiting with family and friends and also loved to fish. A member of Antioch Baptist Church she was a pianist and organist for many years and loved serving her Lord. . Preceding her in death was her husband; Marion �Red� Merriman and her parents. Survivors are children: Charlette Delcerda and husband Dale of Flatwoods, La Tommy Merriman and wife Elizabeth of Arkansas Charles Merriman and wife Tommie of Simpson, La. Johnny Merriman and wife Pam of Hornbeck, La Mike Merriman and wife Rosey of Slagle, La Barbie Stewart and husband Joe of Nachitoches,La Lonnnie Savell and husband Walker of Goldona, La Robert Merriman of Slagle,La Stewart Cox of Tullos, La Tim Merriman and wife Brandy of Slagle, La Host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Tim Merriman, Brandon Merriman, Trip Merriman, Skyler Merriman, Robert"Dink" Merriman, Dan Hollandsworth and Brad Nash
