Obituary for Minor Ray Hunter
A graveside service for Minor Ray Hunter will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Heritage Rowe Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The family and friends of Mr. Hunter will gather at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday then follow in procession to the cemetery.
Mr. Hunter was born on December 10, 1949, in Anacoco, LA and passed away in Leesville, LA on March 1, 2019, at the age of 69. He lived in Louisiana most of his life and worked as a truck driver for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Hunter; parents, Dudley and Fannie Hunter; brother, Lovell; sisters, Dora Marie and Francis Steinke; and brother-in-law, Carl Steinke.
Mr. Hunter is survived by his daughters, Samia’Rae Marion Hunter-Day of Waller, TX and JaCarol Chrisdean Hunter of Brazoria, TX
grandchildren, Kaitlynn Chrisdean Day, Taylor Marion Hunter, JessiAnne Louise Day, Morgan Camille Baxter, Kayla Bolgiano, and Joshua Shira
great grandchildren, Katelyn Shirley, Aiden Bolgiano, Adaline Elizabeth Akin, and Caroline Rae Akin
stepdaughter and son-in-law, Henry and Pattie Shira
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
