Obituary for Michael Marse
A graveside service for Michael Joseph Marse will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on April 12th at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Mr. Marse was born on November 26, 1951, in New Orleans, LA and passed away on April 7, 2018, in Leesville, LA. He was a native of New Orleans and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. After serving, Mr. Marse worked as an iron worker and then as a small engine mechanic. He loved to go fishing, cooking Cajun food, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Marse was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Joseph Marse and Dolly Foster Marse.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Summer Ellzey and husband John of Leesville, LA
Brothers: Russell Marse of New Orleans, LA and Stephen Marse and wife Helen of LaPlace, LA
Grandchildren: Rachel, Taylor, and Jackson Ellzey
Great grandchildren: Spencer, Benjamin, Layth, and Leo
