Obituary for Michael Lewis Molander
A graveside service for Michael Lewis Molander will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in Evans Cemetery with Reverend George Jeane officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Please follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.Michael was born October 23, 1978 in DeRidder, LA and passed away August 30, 2020 in Evans, LA at the age of 41. He was a 1997 graduate of Evans High School and an avid outdoors man. He spent his time on the river fishing, hunting, canoeing, and hanging out with his friends around a fire. The Evans Community was important to Michael, and he made it known by helping Evans whenever he could, mainly at Heaven’s Storehouse. Michael loved spending time with his family and especially loved MawMaw’s cooking.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Jean Molander and Robert Miller; and uncles, Tay Tay Miller and Wayne McCall all of Evans, LA.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert Molander and Karen Molander of Evans, Louisiana and extended family: MawMaw Betty Miller of Evans, Louisiana, Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Bill Gurney of Candia, New Hampshire, Aunt Doris and Uncle Tommy Coward of Bronson, Texas, Aunt Linda and Uncle James McMahon of Evans, Louisiana, Aunt Katrina and Uncle Rich Harmon of Evans, and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Levi Jarrell, Landy Herrington, Dustin Brittain, James Mason, Brent Wilson, and Zane Crocker. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesly Smith, William McCarthy, Rick Kay, Franklin Addison, and Yankee Bob.
