Obituary for Melvin Eugene Hatten
Funeral services for Pastor Melvin Eugene Hatten will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Leesville Family Worship Center at 601 East Mechanic St., Leesville, LA. 71446 with Pastors Daniel Davis, David Reddout and Douglas Fulenwider officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Leesville Cemetery at 601 East Mechanic St., Leesville. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 5:00 PM in the Family Worship Center of Leesville until 8:00 PM and begin again at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until service time. Pastor Hatten, was born November 3rd, 1952 in Pensacola, Fla. to Eugene and Dorothy Wallis Hatten and passed away on Sunday, May 11th, 2014 in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 8 days. He was currently serving as Pastor of Grace Assembly of God Church in Hornbeck and had served the Lord for many years in Missouri. Preceding him in death were his children; Joshua and Kaleb Hatten and Kelly Lawrence Miller, and his parents. He leaves behind his wife and partner for 41 yrs; Frances Lee Hatten of Hornbeck, Louisiana. Two Daughters: Karen Christina Hatten of Hornbeck and Kayla Diane Whitehead and husband James of Branson, MO. One Sister: Donna Futch of Pensacola, Fla. Grandchildren: Carson and Cole Lawrence and Avery Whitehead A host of beloved family and friends.
