Melissa Weeks Favre passed away on June 4, 2020 surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Words of Comfort can be left at www.Jeanesfs.com.
Melissa was born on September 30, 1954 in Kleberg County, TX to Murphy and Dorothy Weeks. An alumnus of Leesville High School, she graduated in 1972. Melissa’s occupations included working for finance companies such as TowerLoan. A lifelong Leesville resident, Melissa was a lifelong member at Holly Grove Methodist, caring for her dog, Lilly, and spending time with her grandkids whom she loved dearly.
Melissa is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Neal Weeks Sr. and Dorothy Margaret Conerly Weeks; brothers, Donald Joe Weeks, Charles Weeks, and Craig Michael Weeks.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Casey Martin, and wife, Angie of Leesville, LA,
brother, Murphy Weeks, and wife, Dorothy of Blanchard, LA,
sister, Gloria McGlothlin of Anacoco, LA,
grandchildren, Haley Martin, Donald Barton, and Alexis Barton,
great grandchild, Bryden Tucker Barton,
and a host of nieces and nephews.
