Obituary for Maxwell Glen Wellman
Services for Mr. Maxwell �Max� Glen Wellman will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. in the Hicks United Pentecostal Church of Hicks, LA with Rev. Greg Mortenson and Rev, Randy Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in LaCamp, LA under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 5:00 P.M. Until 10:00 P.M.in the Hicks United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Wellman, 73, of LaCamp passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the Hicks-LaCamp area and was a retired supervisor with the Vernon Parish Police Jury. Being an avid outdoors man he was a Pioneer in hunting dog running. He was a member of the dog handler association and enjoyed anything that involved dog hunting. He loved serving and worshiping God at the Hicks United Pentecostal Church. Survivors are his wife of 54 years: Olla Mae Bass Wellman of LaCamp, LA One son and daughter in law: David and Sherry Wellman of LaCamp, LA Grandchildren: Shawn David Wellman and wife Sonya of LaCamp, LA Granddaughter: Katelyn Dousay and husband Dusty of LaCamp, LA Great Grandchildren: Austyn Wellman, Courtlyn Dousay, and Emily Wellman One Brother: Martin David Wellman Jr. of LaCamp, LA Two Sisters: Verna Monk of LaCamp, LA and Lois Opal Wellman of Leesville, LA
