Obituary for Masue Hierath
Masue Hirata Hierath was born May 12, 1951 in Kochinda Okinewa, Japan and passed away September 14, 2020 in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 69. She was a native of Japan and tutored Japanese students in mathematics. She also worked in hospitality and food service. Masue enjoyed growing butterfly gardens, but the most important thing to her was being a mother and homemaker.
Masue was preceded in death by her parents, Giro Hirata and Tomi Kinjou Hirata and close friend, Masami Becnell.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 and one-half years, John W. Hierath,
son, Theodore E. Hierath,
daughter, Tiffany E. Hierath,
sisters, Yaeko Higa; Hideko Oyakawa; and Sadako Amanai,
brothers, Mitsuyoshi Hirata and Yoshiaki Hirata,
friends, Yoko Miyazato; Masami Becnel; Yuki Cote; and Mieko Kimjou and many others.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Jeane’s Funeral Service.
