Obituary for Martha Janie Robinson Townley
Services for Martha Janie Robinson Townley will be held on Friday, January 16th, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 6036 Hwy 112, Elmer, LA 71424 with Rev. Jason Townley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery, Hineston, LA under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Family will receive friends starting at 5:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2015 until 10:00 PM and then from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Townley was born August 24, 1928 the 7th of 8 children to Ben and Altha Padgett Robinson in Hineston, La and passed away on January 13, 2015 at her residence in Hineston at the age of 86 yrs. 4 months and 20 days. " Aunt Janie" was a lifetime resident of the Hineston/ Oakdale area and was a homemaker, wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to quilt, cook, and was a devoted wife to her husband for 67 yrs. Together they worshiped and served God faithfully through music and were members of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, and sisters. Survivors are her husband: Elmo Townley of Hineston, LA Daughters and sons in law: Betty and David Frost of Atlanta, TX, Sharon and Buddy Boudreaux of Sulphur, and Nelda and Shannon Ballard of Sulphur Son and daughter in law: Larry and Kathleen Townley of Hineston, LA Grandchildren: Julie Whatley and husband Timmy, Donald Richmond and wife D'Anna, Robyn Augustine and husband Monty, Lisa Pace and husband Jason, Angela Hyatt and husband DeWayne, Kristy Cobill and husband Steve, Merica Townley, Kerry Townley and wife Jessica, and Trista Townley Twenty One Great Grandchildren Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com
