Obituary for Margaret Sue Trull Bailey
Margaret Sue Trull Bailey was born August 28, 1946 in Leesville, LA and passed away surrounded by her loving family May 4, 2020 at the age of 73. In 1964, she graduated from Pickering High School. After finishing beauty school, Sue was a hairdresser for over 30 years also becoming a certified Cosmetology Instructor. She was a talented cake decorator for more than 20 years much of this time was at Bailey’s Bakery. She was a member of Cooper Baptist Church. As an artist her incredible talented manifested in many ways and provided her family and friends with so many beautiful moments. Sue captured these moments in pictures, hair styles that made someone feel lovely, in laughs, in wedding and birthday cakes, in simple life lessons, in Colorado mornings and trips to the lakes, in crafts shared with her grandchildren, and every day for 55 years with the love of her life, Neil Bailey. She was a million beautiful moments old! Everyone who knew her was blessed to participate in her beautiful moments.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Carrol Gibson Trull and Susan Annie Mae Trull; brothers, Curtis Glen Trull and Carroll Oscar Trull; and sisters, Catherine Delitha Bernheimer and Carolyn Ann Taylor.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Neil Bailey Sr. of Leesville,
sons, Charles “Chuck” Bailey Jr. and Russell “Rusty” Bailey and his fiancé Erin Holland all of Leesville,
brother, George Calvin Trull and wife Margie of Leesville,
sister, Cora Mae Drury of Leesville,
grandchildren, Kaitlyn Olivia Bailey and Loryn Elise Bailey, step-grandchildren Tennyson McNeal and Briauna Voda,
and a host of extended family and friends.
