Funeral services honoring the life of Maggie Lee Hickman will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Jeane’s Funeral Service, at 11:00AM with Bro. Ricky Wead and Jimmy Toney officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Forest Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be George “Tater” Hickman, Tyler Hickman, Tyler Hood, Derek Toro, Eric Wead, and Mike Hood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Jeane’s Funeral Service from 5:00 – 9:00PM.
Maggie Lee Hickman was born on October 8, 1944, in Leesville, LA to Lee and Rosa Cole Williams. She passed away at her home in Leesville, on March 3, 2024, at the age of 79. Maggie was married to her loving husband, George for 29 years before he passed. She worked at the State School for several years as a care giver and then at role play at Ft. Johnson. She enjoyed drinking coffee and playing bunco and Yahtzee . She loved her dog and her family very much!
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Lee and Rosa Williams, daughter, Pamela Renee Ethridge, brother, Dallas Williams, and sisters June Breaux, Sue Toney, and Mary Lou Gosnell.
Those left to cherish her memory are son, George (Tater) Hickman;
daughter, Georgia “Ronny” Jean;
grandchildren, Tyler and Morgan Williams;
nephews and nieces, Robert “Shelly” Toney, David “Caroline” Toney, Floyd Toney, Jimmy “Renea” Toney, Susan “Robert” Atkinson, Faye “Ricky” Wead, Wade “Sharon” Gosnell, Veronica “Daniel” Warwick, Charlotte “Mike” Hood, Dora Ruth “Andy” Tracey, Deborah “Keith” Wells, and Mike “Mary” Breaux;
and a host of great nephews and nieces.
