Obituary for Magdaleno Moralez Guzman
A memorial service for Magdaleno Guzman (Mac) will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s funeral Service.
Magdaleno Guzman (Mac) was born on May 28, 1939, in Brownsville, TX to Magdaleno and Conzuello Moralez Guzman. He passed away on November 12, 2020, in DeRidder, LA at the age of 81. Mac served in the army with tours of duty in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam. He was activated again for Desert Storm. He was proud to serve his country. Mac was a boxer for the army. He was a member of St. Michael’s church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed boxing, fishing, coaching all youth sports and was very active in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Efarin and daughter Monique.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheilla
Children, Efain Fuentes (CiCi) Suzanne (Ralph ) Belleau, Mac (Patti) Guzman, Sherri (Brian) Tackett, Terri (Aaron) Sigall, Kristal (Kenny) Holt, Kim Guzman (Jason) Milstead, Monique Guzman
22 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lions Camp or Special Olympics.
