Obituary for Lois Nell Cryer
Funeral services honoring the life of Lois Nell Cryer will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Bennett, Dillion Knowlton, Michael Bennett, Mathew Babineaux, Blake Hanchey, and Randy Hennigen.
Lois Nell Cryer was born on September 19, 1925, to Eary Elmer and Callie Monk Bennett. She passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 98 in Merryville, LA. She worked for the Louisiana Ag Center in Beauregard Parish for many years. She loved gardening and the outdoors. She loved her family and spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John J Cryer, siblings, Carl Everett Bennett, Harold Eugene Bennett, Ruby Leona Hennigan, Gladys Myrl Spikes, Joyce Marie Brister, Eary Elmer, Bennett Jr, Leroy Bennett, and Mae Louise Hanchey.
She was survived by her step daughters, Debra Rene and James Clemmons of Leesville, LA; and Rhonda Kay and Mike Clayton of Prosperity, South Carolina;
grandchildren, John Adams of Merryville and Amie and Chris Summerlin of Mobile, AL;
great grandchildren, Ethan Adams of Deridder, LA, Kayleigh Webb of Mobile, AL, and Taylor Webb of Hurley, MS.
