Obituary for Lloyd Nolen
Graveside services honoring the life of Lloyd Nolen will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, 1:00 PM, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hornbeck, LA, with Bro. Sandy Guynn officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service
Visitation will held at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St., Leesville, LA on December 17, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Lloyd Nolen was born on December 18, 1940 to John and Dovie Hilton Nolen in Lafayette, LA. He passed away on December 14, 2020, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 79. He worked for Nash’s Paint and Body shop for 34 years and was excellent at his craft. He had a passion for restoring classic cars. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and street rod cars. He was a hardworking man that loved his family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Dovie Nolen, and brothers, Arvil Nolen and Red Nolen.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathy Nolen of Leesville, LA
sons, Tommy Nolen and wife Kim of Devers, TX, Jimmy Nolen and wife Lori of Blanchard, OK, and Jeff Pollard of Leesville, LA
daughter, Catherine Ann Poole and husband Jim of Orange Park, FL,
brother, Roy Nolen of Coushatta, LA
sisters, Lois Downs of Hornbeck, LA, Darnell Wyche of Longview, TX, Joy Lee of Leesville, LA, and Barbara Antley of Leesville, LA
grandchildren, Tyler Nolen, Wade Nolen, Gracie Nolen, Matthew Poole, and Brayden Jeffries
and his cats Smokey and Spot
