Obituary for Linda MIchelle Bassham
A graveside service for Linda Michelle Bassham will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Linda was born April 27, 1947 in Leesville, LA and passed away September 3, 2020 in Leesville at the age of 73. She loved all animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, antiques, gardening, and playing the piano. When she could, Lisa would visit with family and friends. She missed all of those things when she could no longer do them, but she never gave up her hope to have another little dog or to crochet again.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bassham; mother, Johnnie Lee Bassham; and maternal grandparents, Hegimon R. Langton and Tessie Marcell McNeely.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wendy Marcella Hopkins and husband Brian and Debra Lee Guill and grandchildren, Alexander J. Hopkins, Christopher S. Hopkins, Jacob L. Guill, and William Isaac Martinez.
