Obituary for Linda Ann Gregg
Funeral services for Linda A. Gregg will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at The Church House on Alexandria Highway in Leesville, LA 71446. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 8th and will continue until service time on Wednesday at The Church House. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Hicks, LA. Mrs. Gregg passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home. Linda A. Gregg was born in Yoakum, TX on December 17, 1949, to Herbert and Joan Leist. She was the oldest of five children. She moved to Louisiana at the age of 17, where she married and raised five children. Above all else, Linda loved God and led her family in the same Godly love. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and listening to gospel music. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to have her entire family gathered around her. She was a faithful member of The Church House, in Hicks, LA, and loved her pastor and church family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Joan Leist. She leaves behind her husband, Mike L. Gregg, Sr. of Hicks, LA Siblings: Butch Leist of Bulverde, TX.; Bill Leist of San Antonio, TX; Marylin Davis of Burnet, TX; and Debbie Leist of Burnet, TX Her children: Patricia Hunnicutt of Hicks, LA; Lori Allen and husband Willie of Hicks, LA; Rodney Hunnicutt and wife Carrie of Slagle, LA; Beth Turner and husband Bobby of Kirbyville, TX; and Michial Gregg, Jr. of Denham Springs, LA Grandchildren: Kristina Gibson and husband Houston of Manchester, KY; Jessica Fee of Ardmore, OK; Jeffery Agan of Minnesota; Levi, Joshua, Mason & Madalyn Allen of Hicks, LA, Ally & Bella Hunnicutt of Slagle, LA; Lauren Hunnicutt of Anacoco, LA; and Brittin Gregg of Alexandria, LA Great-grandchildren: Riley Wingate of Ardmore, OK; and Matthew, Kamryn and Ethan Gibson of Manchester, KY.
