Obituary for Linda Carlock White
The funeral service for Linda Sue Carlock White will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March
23, 2017, at Jeane’s Funeral Service 100 E. Union St. Leesville, Louisiana under the direction of
Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Slagle, LA.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Jeane’s
Funeral Service.
Linda was born on March 4, 1947, to Jakie and Myrtle Carlock in Port Aurther, TX and passed
away March 18, 2017, at the age of 70. She was a proud 1965 graduate of Leesville High
School. In 1985, Linda married Michael White and became a proud military wife. During their
31 years together, Linda and Michael serviced in many locations and made friends the world over. She always made her house a happy home no matter where they lived. While in the military, Linda served as a Wives’ Club Leader where she nurtured both the soldiers and their wives. She was always a great listener for her children and always gave them loving advice when they needed it. Her greatest joy was caring for her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, this brought Linda so much joy. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jakie and Myrtle Carlock and her brother, Jakie M.

Daughters: Angi Miller of Houston, Texas and Andrea Self and spouse Tammy Lee of
Loveland, OH
Sister: Beth Strickland of Orange, TX
Grandchildren: Joshua Miller, Zachary Miller, and Skylar Lee
A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family
Pallbearers will be Charles Lewis, Jason Carlock, Tim Trapp, Greg Lindner, Joshua Davis, and
Jesse Robenson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lindner, Ty Carlock, and Michael Carlock.
