Obituary for Leona C. Hale-Walsh
Funeral services for Leona C. Hale Walsh will be held at 3:00 P.M. On Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Pisgah Baptist Church in Toro, La with Rev. Buddy Airhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery under the guidance of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville, LA. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 30. 2013 at 10:00 A.M until time of services at the Church. Mrs. Walsh , 91 of Toledo Bend passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 at her residence. She was a Chef for many years on the Alaskan Pipe line and also Alaskan Crab boats and also did catering. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church of Toro. Preceding her in death was her husbands: James Walter Hale and Jack "Big Papa"Walsh Sons: Tom Richard Hale, Jerry B. Hale and Daughters in law: Pansy Hale and Randi Hale Sisters: Vivian Speers and Julie Lucius Survivors are Son: James "Jimbo" Hale of Deer Park, TX Brother: Lee "Snookie" Barker of Houston, TX Grandchildren: Jerry Hale , Joe Hale, Richard Hale, Dawn Lewis and Randal Hard Seventeen Great Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren Longtime family and friend and caretaker: Mary Love Pallbearers will be : Thomas James Hale, William Tanner Hale, Shane Thomas Hale, Shannon Wayne Hale, Skyler Stapleton and Blake Phelps For more information family and friends may call 337-238-1700 for more information.
