Larry Paul Johnson Funeral services for Larry Johnson will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco, La with Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating, Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery under the guidance of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Jeane's Funeral Service in Leesville and then from 9:00 am till service time at Good Hope Baptist Church. Larry was born on April 2, 1952 in Leesville to Winston and Fannie Mae Johnson and passed away on Saturday, at his residence. He grew up on a dairy farm where he learn to operate heavy equipment and turned this into his life work. Larry was an avid fan of rodeoing. Preceding him in death was his wife of 13 years, Renee Martin Johnson, parents, and brother David Bruce Johnson. He is survived by his children Michael Johnson of DeRidder, La., Dustee Johnson Prewitt of Dallas, TX and William Johnson of Pitkin, La., sister Barbara Johnson Verdinof Baton Rouge, La., brother Bill (Mary) Johnson of Jeanerette, La., sister-in-law Mary Johnson of Slagle, La.. numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Richard and Denise Brown of Pitkin, La.
