Obituary for Lance Edwin Mitcham
Funeral services for Lance Edwin Mitcham will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Jeane’s Funeral Service with Reverend James Kay officiating. Burial will follow in Plunkaway Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Please follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Lance was born January 18, 1964 and passed away November 25, 2020 at the age of 56. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. Lance enjoyed hunting and watching car races, and he especially liked to fish.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, John Murrell Mitcham and sister, Detra Mitcham Fleniken.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Abbie Mitcham of Anacoco, LA,
brothers, William G. Mitcham (Geraldine) and Dennis Mitcham (Charlotte) all of Burr Ferry, LA,
aunts, Donice Smith, Wanda Jordan, and Charlene Jeane,
uncle, Jimmy Fleniken (Toni),
stepson, Justin Stephens,
and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Mitcham, Jared Mitcham, Jeran Mitcham, Grady Mitcham, Jakey Mitcham and Konner Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Alexander, Rylee Gill, Kolby Cook, and Kollin Cook.
