Obituary for Kimberly "Kim" Susanne Redden

Funeral services for Kimberly “Kim” Susanne Redden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Leesville with Reverends Joey Williams and Sandy Guynn officiating. The burial will follow in Self Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Kim was born August 1, 1978, in Alexandria, Louisiana and passed away July 27, 2023, in Rayville, Louisiana at the age of 44. She attended Leesville and Anacoco schools and used her excellent equestrian skills to become a Louisiana Lions Club Rodeo Queen. For a while, Kim worked as a CNA and as the manager of Family Dollar in Leesville. She had a love for animals and worked in a veterinarian’s office as well. Kim enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Gail Knapp Corley; maternal grandparents, George Thomas Knapp & Janis Marie Knapp; and paternal grandparents, George David Redden Jr. & Elva Williams Redden.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas Briar Paddy (Allie Richard) of DeRidder, LA;

daughter, Janalisa Elliotte of Pleasant Hill, LA;

grandchildren, Hagan Elliotte, Lawson Elliotte, Carter Paddy, and Cooper Paddy;

father, David Redden of Hornbeck, LA;

dad, Mike Corley of Leesville, LA;

brother, John David Redden (Sunny) of Clarksville, TN;

nieces & nephews, Brianna Redden, John David Redden, and Colby Redden;

and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
