Obituary for Kervin "KW" Carl White

Funeral services for Kervin “KW” Carl White will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Mora House of Prayer, 187 Mora Road, Mora, LA with Reverend Roger George officiating. The burial will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Mack White, Taylor Martin, Jordan Martin, Patrick Martin, Tim Daniels, Mitchell Edwards, Matthew Cornett, and Gabriel White. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Coffman, Felton Hale, Chad Bo Daniels, Brad Daniels, Charles Stuckey, and L.M. Edwards.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4th from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Mora House of Prayer.

KW was born December 17, 1955, in Alexandria, Louisiana and passed away March 1, 2023 in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 67. For about 45 years he worked as a welder and traveled frequently for work. KW greatly enjoyed raising and tending his game fowl. His grandchildren brought him much joy, and they could often be found outside riding the tractor, four-wheeler, or lawn mower.

KW was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl Ann White; parents, Mack White & Katherine Edwards White; brothers, John Allen White, Douglas Mack White, & Keith White; and sister, Elanore Burns.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Mack White and wife Heather of Anacoco, LA and Timothy Daniels and wife Maria of Odessa, TX;

daughters, Monica Nicole Martin and husband Patrick of Kurthwood, LA, Bridgett White and husband Mitchell Edwards of Mora, LA, Brittany Cornett and husband Matthew of Mora, LA, and Jessica Ingram and husband Jason Ingram of Illinois;

grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Gabriel, Ava, Alaya, Aidan, Elam, Emerie, Emmitt, Lola, Hunter, Luke, Malachi, Dalton, and Caysen;

brother, Kenneth White and wife Debbie of LeCompte, LA;

sister, Delores Lambert of Pineville, LA;

and a host of extended family members.
