Obituary for Kermit Inman
Kermit Eli Inman 82 of Rosepine, LA passed away on Friday, July 24,2015 in Houston, TX. He was born June 19, 1933, in Asher, OK to Opal "Venable" and Argie Inman. Kermit was an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, in Pitkin, LA. He was a former business owner and worked as a role play member for Cubic of Ft. Polk. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Inman had also been a Mason since 1967. Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Inman, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church 13408 Hwy 10 Pitkin, LA. with Reverends Brian Thompson, Larry White and Larry Inman officiating. Burial will follow with Military honors in the Blue Branch Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Kermit is survived by his wife, Mary "Maggie" Wisby Inman of Rosepine, La Three Sons: Jerry Inman and his wife Benita of Pitkin, LA; Steven Inman and his wife Rochelle of Murfreesboro, TN; and Stuart Inman and wife Deb of Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson of Pitkin, LA; Tina Cooley and husband Tracy of Pitkin, LA; Brandi Stiles of Hopkinsville, KY. Marina and Issac of Murfreeboro, TN. Great Grandchildren, Savannah Cooley Wellman, Jared Thompson, Sadie Blaine Cooley and Jacob Wayne Thompson all of Pitkin, LA; Kora Elyse Stiles of Hopkinsville KY. Great Great Grandchildren, Sarah Grace Wellman and Sydni Claire Wellman of Pitkin, LA Three Brothers; Kenneth Inman and wife Penny; Keith Inman and wife Beverly and Karroll Inman all of Oklahoma. One Sister; Kathryn Hurt of Houston, TX. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015 starting at 4;00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at Mt.
