Obituary for Kenny Dean Creed
Kenny Dean Creed, 74, passed into his Savior’s Loving Arms on February 24, 2022. Kenny was born in Pittsburg, Kansas to Merle and Esther (DeVries) Creed who preceded him in death. He graduated from Jefferson City High School and enlisted in the US Navy for three years. Afterwards, he attended Moberly Area Community College for two years then transferred to the University of Missouri where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked in Kansas City, Missouri for his entire career and retired from Burns & McDonnell in 2009. Kenny moved from his homestead in Moberly, Missouri to Thibodaux, Louisiana in July 2021. Kenny’s favorite things to do were playing golf, fishing, and watching old reruns of Perry Mason.
He leaves his loving wife, Elizabeth, of the home, four “bonus” sons, Robert Baker (Renee) of Tennessee, Christopher Baker (Kerri) of Georgia, Daniel Baker (Stephanie) of Louisiana, and James Baker (Angela) of Kansas. He also leaves eleven “bonus” grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Dalton, Dustin, Ashton, Olivia, Toby, Bryce, Aden-Jay, Fabian, Abigail, Julia, and Emily. He also leaves his precious sister-in-love, MaryAnn Gibson (Ken) of New Jersey. Additionally, he leaves many cousins. His favorite four-legged companion, Doolittle, also preceded him in death and was undoubtedly waiting to greet his earthly master as he entered the Pearly Gates.
Kenny always saw the good in people and helped anyone he could. His generosity knew no boundaries.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Mount Vernon 100F Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Missouri under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
