Graveside services for Kenneth Donald Holt Sr. will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Canaan Cemetery, Hwy 8 West, Leesville, LA. Burial will follow under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Services of Leesville. Mr. Holt was born on June 12, 1937 in Leesville, LA to Marcus C. and Ethel Rena Cooper Holt and passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Lake Charles, LA at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 28 days. He was a life time resident of Leesville where he had worked as a Security Guard, Truck Driver and other jobs. His true love was playing his guitar and entertaining as a solo artist and with several groups around the area. Preceding him in death were his wife, Gloria Holt, parents, and brothers. Survivors are his son. Kenneth Donald Holt Jr. of DeQuincy, LA Brother and sister-in-law: Gary and Lula Holt of Cottonwood, LA Host of nephews and nieces.
