Obituary for Kendal James Kelly
Funeral services for Kendal James Kelly will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Old Anacoco Baptist Church with Lloyd Handorf and Brent Cosio officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation times for the family and friends of Mr. Kelly will be held on Friday, February 8th at Old Anacoco from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Kendal was born on March 10, 1994, and passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 24. He was born in Texas and has lived in Vernon Parish since he was 10 years old. Kendal was a 2012 graduate of Simpson High School. He was an excellent horseman and enjoyed riding and breaking horses as well as fishing and camping. Kendal loved being with people and could light up a room with his smile. Most of all, he loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, and the rest of his family.
Kendal was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karolyne Ashfield and uncle, James David Ashfield Jr.
