Obituary for Jonathan James

A graveside service for Jonathan James will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 2019, at Pine Island Cemetery in Pickering under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Mr. James was born on July 25, 1955, and passed away on January 3, 2019, at the age of 63. He served in the United State Navy then worked offshore for a while, and after that he worked for the Rosepine Research Station. The last place he worked was at American Moving and Storage. At one time, he enjoyed coon hunting, and he will be remembered as a man who lived simply and was loved by his family.
Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents Billy and Marianne James and brother Billy Frank James.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his longtime companion Vickie Jane Maddox of Leesville, LA
son Christopher Hazel and wife Bridget of Leesville, LA
daughter Katelyn Jonell James of Hooks, TX
sisters Deborah Bondra and wife Dan of Leesville, LA and Martha Vinson and husband David of Fayetteville, NC
grandson Gavin Lee
and nieces and nephews Michael Johnston, Ricky Brown, Heather Brown, Emily McDonald, Holly Reigle, Haley Hood, Laurashae Brown, Ricky Brown III, Abigail Brown, Dawson Vinson, Kolin Brown, Jadyn Holsomback, Linkon Brown, Gracyn Reigle, Vivi McDonald, Lane McDonald, Tripp Johnston, Adelaide Johnston, and Huxson Hood.
