Obituary for Johnny B Wynne
A memorial service for Johnny B. Wynne will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA. Johnny was born July 15, 1943, to Rosie Lee (Ratley) and Allen Paul Wynne at his home in DeBerry, Texas along with his twin brother. Johnny spent most of his working life as a pipefitter/planner/supervisor for Brown and Root. His job took him and his family all over the Unites States and to England for many years. While there, he helped start Eumech for B&R in Europe. He also worked with BE&K and Zachery in later years. He and his wife, Patsy R. Grizzle Wynne, owned and operated Suburban Furniture in Rosepine, LA. He was best known in the area for his junk business.
Johnny died at home with his family on June 15, 2022. Left without him are his daughters, Paula Tague and Jennifer Wynne Williams and husband Roger; his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Hanna Williams; sister, Fay Calicutt; brother, Willie Murrell and wife Barb; sister-in-law, Chris Stanford; brother-in-law, Cal Lutz and wife Bridget; numerous nieces and nephews; special family members, Sip West and Velvis Jowers; and long-time friend, Bonnie Thompson.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Patsy; twin brother, Dee Wynn; brothers, Melvin and Rodney Standford; sister, Caludine Barber and husband Joe; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Jerry Calicutt.
