Obituary for John Page
John Charlotte Page, 68, of Rosepine, LA passed away August 7, 2020 at his home. He was born October 9, 1951 in Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1973. John’s favorite saying was, “God bless a milk cow”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Carol Ashworth Page of Rosepine,
Nicole C. Ford of Rosepine who in John’s heart was his daughter and who lovingly helped care for him until he went home to the Lord,
his daughter, Renee Little Moore, her husband Jeff, and their two children of Lexington, OK,
and close friends, Josh and Kristi Whitaker and family of Rosepine. John was lovingly known as “Mr. Lowes” by their children. Josh and Kristi helped care for him during his illness.
John is also survived by Carol’s family – Josh and Tabitha Hedrick and their family of Hornbeck, LA; John and Regina Wilkerson and family of Rosepine who helped with medical emergencies many times; Gary and Tammy Hedrick and their family of Simpson, LA; Steel and Cheyenne Hedrick and their family of Slagle, LA; and his church family from Living Hope Church of DeRidder, LA. He loved his pastor, Kevin Coward, and his friends from the church.
John's family thanks Heart of Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to him.
A graveside service for John will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Rosepine Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Coward officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA.
