Obituary for Joe Ann Roberts Sepulvado
Funeral services for Joe Ann Roberts Sepulvado will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30th at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Tri Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for Joe Ann’s family and friends will be held at the church from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29th.
Joe Ann was born June 28, 1941 in Leesville, LA and passed away January 25, 2020 in Leesville, LA at the age of 78. She graduated from Leesville High School in 1959. Throughout her lifetime Joe Ann held various jobs to include secretary, food truck driver at Ft. Polk, commercial sewing at the Jordache plant, bookkeeper for Sepulvado Enterprises (carpet installation business), and caregiver for the elderly. Joe Ann was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and the Orange Chapter 224 of the Eastern Star. For the last several years, she lived in the Sunshine Center Apartments and enjoyed helping out with any and everything. Joe Ann enjoyed many hobbies, her most recent being computer games, diamond painting, crafts, and bingo.
Joe Ann was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph W. Sepulvado and Donald W. Parker Sr.; parents, Ervin Arthur Roberts and Ruby Smith Roberts; sister, Ruby Alice Freeland; and great grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Parker and William David Parker.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Donald Wayne Parker Jr. and wife Tania of Leesville, LA and Rodney Wayne Parker and wife Susan of Lenoir City, TN,
daughter, Gail Roxanna Eckle of Leesville, LA,
brothers, Arthur Reid Roberts and Thomas Lawrence Roberts both of Leesville, LA,
grandchildren, April Hicks and husband Rodney, Johnny Johnson, Michael Johnson and wife Amanda, and Lacy Cryer and husband Josh,
great grandchildren, Jennifer Lee, Emily Hicks, Rhett Hicks, Katlynn Johnson, Easton Cryer, and Kinsley Cryer,
and a host of extended family.
