Obituary for Jo Beth Jeane
Funeral services for Jo Elizabeth Jeane will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at Cooper Baptist Church with Rev. Edgar Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018, from 5:00 -9:00 P.M. at Cooper Baptist Church.
Jo Elizabeth Jeane was born on March 10, 1935 to Joseph Walker Craft and Orelia Perkins Craft in Vernon Parish, LA. She passed away on October 20, 2018 at the age 83 in Leesville, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish and retired from the postal service. She loved to talk and visit with people. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and her visits with them were very special to her. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her African violets. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Ray Jeane, and grandson, Chad Bryant, brother, William Craft, and sister-in-law, Faye Craft.
She is survived by her son: Joe Jeane and wife Suzy of Bryan, TX
Daughters: Sandy Bryant and husband Ernie of Leesville, LA, Brenda Bass and husband Jack of Pitkin, LA, and Carol Jeane and husband James M of Leesville, LA
Brother: Roy K. Craft of Burleson, TX
Grandchildren: T. Joe Jeane, Wyatt Bryant, Luke Bass, Haley Ellison, Dustin Gilcrease, Darbee Ramsey, and Nathan Gilcrease
Great Grandchildren: Colt, Carter, and Carah Beth Bryant, Colby and Jaida Bass, Caroline Ellison, Destiny Kay, Bailey, Kelcie and Emma Ramsey, Toby Poe, Rayleigh and Natalee Gilcrease, and Ansley and Eli Gilcrease
