Obituary for Jimmie Evenuard Morrison
Funeral services for Jimmie Evenuard Morrison will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Good Hope Baptist Church with Reverends Wesley Jackson and Mike Goins officiating. The burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The pallbearers will be Tommy Cochran, Danny Strickland, Kenneth Cochran, Jimmy Cochran, R.J. Hayes, Robbie Harris, Tom Park, and Brandy Park.
A visitation will be held at Good Hope Baptist Church on Thursday, September 7th from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.
Evenuard was born July 21, 1943, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away at his home in Anacoco, Louisiana on September 3, 2023, at the age of 80. He traveled all over the country for his job and lived in Texas for a while but always called Anacoco his home. Evenuard was a hard-working man who enjoyed the simple things in life like being at home with his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Hoy Morrison & Audrie Erwin Morrison and siblings, Aaron, Dennis, Murell, and Guinevere.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Kayla Barbie Park and husband Tommy of Leesville, LA;
son, Micheal Evenuard Morrison of Anacoco, LA;
daughter, Belinda Sue Milard and husband Don of Houston, TX;
grandchildren, Jennifer Royalty and husband Harrison, Jacob Milard, Kevin Jeane and wife Lyssa, Shelia Monroe, and Emiry Jeane;
great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Elinor, Dorathy, Amanda, and Brandon;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
