Obituary for Jessie Garland Nolen II
A graveside service for Jessie Garland Nolen II will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10 2021 in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck with Reverend Wayne Chance officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Jessie was born June 24, 1954 in Leesville, LA and passed away May 7, 2021 in Lake Charles, LA at the age of 66. He lived in Hornbeck, LA all of his life and was a 1973 graduate of Hornbeck High School. Jessie enjoyed working with leather, welding, and carpentry. He was a member of Toro Masonic Lodge 253 and served there as a master in the past. Jessie was a loving, kind man who loved his family above all else.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie “Sam” and Doris Campbell Nolen.
Left to cherish Jessie’s memory are his wife of 48 years, Nelta Chance Nolen;
sons, Jessie Nolen III and wife Tonya and Henry Nolen and wife Amanda;
seven grandchildren, Dana, Joseph, Rodney, Emily, Cholie, Caitlin, and Elaina;
and mother-in-law, Gennie Fisher.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Nolen, Henry Nolen, Kenneth Williams, Kelvin Hicks, Rodney Nolen, and Joseph Nolen.
