Obituary for Jerry Fletcher

A memorial service for Jerry Dolton Fletcher will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Sandy Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Sandy Gynn officiating under the direction of Jeane�s Funeral Service. Jerry Dolton Fletcher was born to Wallace and Ruthie Faye Fletcher in Evans, LA and passed away on January 10, 2017 at the age of 69. After serving in the Navy, Jerry worked as a tankerman then he worked for twenty-five years as a captain for the Fort Polk Fire Department. Next, Jerry worked for Acadian Ambulance for ten years as a paramedic. After retiring, Jerry was able to devote time to one of his favorite hobbies � painting. He painted portraits and landscapes. Jerry also enjoyed his dog, Daisy, fishing, and hunting, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents � Wallace and Ruthie Faye Fletcher, his son� Matthew Fletcher, and his infant children - Terry and Cinnamon Fletcher Surviving him is his wife of 44 years � Patricia �Pat� Fletcher of Leesville, LA Two daughters � Tina Baxter and husband Brad of Baytown, TX and Gina Linaweaver and husband Terry of Baytown, TX Daughter-in-law � Marilyn Fletcher of Leesville, LA One brother � Billy Wayne Craft of Evans, LA One sister � Glenda O�Banion of Leesville, LA Grandchildren � Tabitha Clevenger, Shanna Martin, Donna Auter, Dustin Baxter, Michael Linaweaver, and Alisha Lambright Step grandchildren � Sarah Minks and Savannah Baxter Great grandchildren � Madison Mitchell, Chloe Stanley, Harlie Martin, Christian Linaweaver, Liam Auter, and Bradley Baxter Step great grandchildren � Kayla, Destini, and Aaron Clevenger and Cayden Minks A host of nieces and nephews Words of comfort and encouragement may be made at
