Obituary for Jerry David Rains
Jerry David Rains was born in Leesville, LA, September 20th, 1952. He passed away Tuesday, December 8th in Leesville at the age of 68. David was a life long resident of Vernon Parish, he graduated from Leesville High School in 1970. He was an avid fisherman. He loved his time on the lake, where the family plans to spread his ashes for his final resting place. He was a friend to all and will missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rosco and Ruby Rains, and brothers Larry Wayne Rains, Thomas Earl Rains, and Tommy Lynn Rains.
Mr. Rains is survived by his daughter Tara Ashley Coger, son-in-law Logan Asa Coger, and granddaughters Shailyn Elizabeth Coger and Lauren Ashley Coger.
