Obituary for Janet Marie Smith
A funeral service for Janet Marie Holt Smith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 1796 Laurel Hill Road Leesville, LA 71446, with Reverends Wesley Jackson and John Smith officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the LaCamp Pentecostal Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the church and will continue until the time of service on Wednesday.
Janet was born on January 3, 1953, and passed away on May 15, 2017, at the age of 64. She was a lifelong resident of Vernon parish and a Hicks High School graduate. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and church family were her life. She will be greatly missed by all.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Marie Barton.
