Obituary for Janell Bolgiano Milstead Meincke
Funeral services for Janell Bolgiano Milstead Meincke will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Hope Springs Pentecostal Church, 197 Alexandria Hwy. Leesville, LA with Reverends Dale Mortensen, Tony Warren, Thomas Gibson, and Gerald Milstead officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Rowe Memorial Park under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Janell was born March 6, 1937 and passed away November 1, 2020 at the age of 83. She was a devoted Christian lady and a faithful member of Walnut Hill Pentecostal Church. Janell had a generous, helpful spirit and spread love to everyone around her. One of the ways she did this was to cook large portions of food and share it with her friends and neighbors. Nothing was wasted because she would feed animals as well. Church was important to her, and she often brought small gifts to the children in Sunday School. Janell spent hours at the nursing home ministering to the people who lived there. Many people were blessed by her loving care. Janell will be missed, but we know she is rejoicing in Heaven.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward O. Meincke of Leesville, LA,
brother, Loye A. Bolgiano of Leesville, LA,
sister, Janice Bolgiano Gibson and husband Reverend T.A. Gibson,
sons, Danny Milstead of Houston, TX, Gerald Milstead and wife Cindy of Madison, MS, and David Milstead and wife Pat of Alvin, TX,
