James was born September 24, 1979 in Beckley, WV and passed away February 3, 2020 in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 40. He served in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. James lived in West Virginia for many years before moving to Baton Rouge. He enjoyed cooking, taking culinary classes, and experiencing all the wonderful new foods that he discovered in Louisiana. James was an avid golf player and a talented photographer. He was blessed with musical talent and could pick up an instrument and easily learn how to play it. He passed this ability on to his son.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, James K. Boles, Robert Alexander, and Gloria Alexander.
Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter, Jake and Ayla King both of Mohawk, MI,
