Obituary for James Matthew Wilson
A visitation for family and friends of James Matthew Wilson will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Jeane’s Funeral Service Chapel, 100 E. Union St., Leesville, LA.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
James Matthew Wilson was born on October 23, 1962, in Shreveport, LA to James H. Wilson and Anita Norman Young. He passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 58, in Leesville, LA. James was a mechanic and owned and operated Industrial Starter Service for 20 years. Upon his retirement from this business, he began working at Ft. Polk as a gunsmith. He enjoyed working on guns, elk hunting in Colorado, and tinkering with his many projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Lensie Stanley and husband Justin of Anacoco,
grandchildren, Katelynn and Dillon Stanley of Anacoco,
sister, Michelle Wadley and husband Phillip of Houston, TX,
special friend, Sandy Davis of Pickering,
and a host of friends and coworkers.
